Have you ever wondered how NAV of REIT's Company is calculated?


Is it directly the total Equity?

In previous post have covered how units are calculated when the bring IPO..

So is NAV directly
Total Equity/No. of units?

What will you find a Big chunk in REIT balance sheet?

Investment property Right?

Can the book value of property be different than Fair Value of property?

Yes Right?

So For calculating NAV should i take fair value of property?

Logically i must Right?

But who will give me Fair value?

A valuation report from a certified valuer!
and guess what company gives it in its fillings!
